Realistically it would have been easier to combine with a home friendly on a Saturday if we'd been able to have one.

Think it's easier for the Club to make an announcement to inform all fans rather than 4000 fans to contact the Club. Do you not agree?

Of course, but I was just suggesting it would be easier (and more effective) to have put forth your original enquiry to the club rather than here. I think it is a fair comment?

There will be an announcement any day now, there are a lot of stake holders involved in such a day, including management and players, board members, club staff to name a few. As people are in the stadium H&S regulations have to be adhered to also.

yes 4000 fans don't need to contact the club but your interest in the open day is to use it it as opportunity to sell items so it makes sense for you to contact the club directly don't you agree?

Spot on. Surely if you wanted to sell souvenirs at the open day the club should be the first point of call.

If its not been announced officially then there's usually a good reason for that, like the fact things haven't been finalised.
