Is it true that the candidate who missed out on a place on the board threw an undignified wobbler?

The WST board brought forward the proposal to form an events company forthe membership to vote on and it went through with ease - as one would expect.
It was said that they had learnt from the last time - when they formed a company (Assets) in the members name without consulting the members. Its good news that they have consulted and had the support of the members.

The board usually advises members on resolutions but on this occasion they didn't. 'The board takes a neutral stance on this resulution'

They managed to gain 52 votes against 126 which was a decent result when one considers that their proposal was against the recommendation of the WST Board.

Adrian and Phils proposal (RES E) would have seen a considerable change to the way people are elected to the Football Club Board. Probably a step to far for members.

After the vote a suggestion was made from the floor that the WST board might consider some way of directly electing ONE ordinary member directly to the club board. That person would not be an existing trust board or football club board member. They would be properly nominated and elected by the membership and serve for a stated period .
the suggestion did not seem to be received well by those on the WST and football club board but they might look into it.
Perhaps Phil and Adrian might have better luck if they put that watered down proposal before members at the next AGM and who knows they might just win the vote.
A good idea, did the WST and football club board give any reasons why they weren't in favour?

I thought the person that put forward the above proposal about an ordinary member was spot on. A brilliant suggestion that every genuine fan should want. A shame about the turnout.

Mark Willians yet again gave an insight into the way club finances and controlled and monitored. Not an easy job and the club is so lucky to have him on board. He is very transparent with his explanations.

Re the clubs plans for future development and the needs for Welsh Government involvement - Spencer Harris suggested that a document had been put together an I believe he said it had been sent to The Welsh Government.
