Re: Daily Post V Wrexham
Why do people sell their souls to English teams then say Wrexham are shit ! If everybody in liverpool supported Wrexham wouldn't it be weird. I know some massive wales fans who love English teams but boo god saves the queen , its crazy.

In fact there aren't many senior Welshmen in our squad. It's absolutely ridiculous to think you can't support a Premier League team because you're not from that town or city. Who says you have to support the town/city you were born in. Should people from Conwy and Gwynedd support Wrexham when there are enough clubs in North West Wales? Posted via mobile theme |

I lived in Liverpool for a few years and they would totally disagree with you. I not saying you cant I just find it odd that we serve half a country but not even wst membership topped 5000 did it? I see both sides of the argument but lean towards local loyalty and always will

Re: Daily Post V Wrexham
Living in North East Wales, you could say supporting a Liverpool based club IS supporting a local team. It's just not the closest.
Also, you have to consider that some people aren't interested in 5th tier rubbish. I can't say that I've not felt like that at times having spent £19 on a 0-0 draw watching blokes who, let's face it, are only professional footballers because we have an ingrained desire to have a professional football club in the town. Re: Daily Post V Wrexham
What I'm getting at is I'm obviously biased towards Wrexham but we could be a in a much better position if we had more local support and wouldn't be 5th tier. We have a hell of a catchment area with no other team near our size and I think it's a shame.
