Genuine feedback ( not a moan!) WST membership sign up
I, after a few years absence decided to sign backup for WST membership a couple of weeks ago. The signup page is not particularly user friendly, but not hard to do. After signing up, i received an auto email saying "order received" and this was a couple of weeks ago. I have not received a welcome/welcome back email listing all the benefits of membership, neither has my email address been added to any emailing groups, such as announcing new signings etc. Going forward I would like to see the following If new, returning members signup, would it be possible to send auto emails with a standard welcome etc etc? When a signup is complete, the members email address should be added to all relevant email lists asap Please have a rethink of the layout of membership signup, it could be far more user friendly. As a long distance fan i feel somewhat detached with the club, through no ones fault of course, but small things like the above would make a difference to fans such as myself. |

They have mixed up my membership with another lad. He has paid, but its in my name... so I can't buy a replacement and he won't get the benefits.
Asked a couple times for this to be fixed, but nobody seems to know how. A minor issue in an otherwise hard working group. |

I no longer receive any correspondence from wst about my membership or anything wst related at all. No nice one for renewing again email or here are your wst discounts for blah blah blah. Bit poor really

WST doing a good job, and I get all the notifications, but I wish they would sort out the annual subscription date. I pay by Paypal every January for a year, but still get notifications that my membership ends in June. For easy administration I suggest everybody pays at the same time. The could ask everybody that pays in January to pay a six month subscription to bring everybody in line

Membership matters were discussed at the AGM of the WST and top table said they were working on improvements. They are volunteer members who put in the hours to please take that into account. The clerk of the WST also said there was a need to engage with members and I am sure this is being worked on.
