Would welcome him back. I think he was too predictable on the wing as he cut inside on his right foot a lot of the time, and players figured that out. I would like to see him at the head of a midfield three, meaning he has freedom to roam without any defensive duties.

This is exactly where he should play, however a 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield, or a 4-3-2-1 (or similar) isn't used that often lower down the pyramid.

All of the above dont relate at all to Vose. Plus 10 goals and 10 assists by January...I think thats pretty hard working. Physical he may not be, but very few flair players are, lets be honest. He got crowds on their feet with his flair, pace and trickery, other players like Harris and Keates get fans on their feet with their tenacity and chasing, which is what kelly will be doing this year.

after he left we lost to braintree and went 9 undefeated scoring in all bar one.

where was his flair pace and trickery and "match winner" tendencies from end November to beginning of Jan we won one and lost five league games...

You'd hope Keates has signed players with a bit of back bone to accommodate a flair player like Vose.

Let's face it though, we play teams at home who put 10 men behind the ball so we need quality players to create openings. However, one of the issues of teams playing 10 men behind the ball is them breaking on us and whether Vose will run back towards his own goal quickly enough.

I'd get him in the building. He's 18 months older and hopefully wiser having played and trained with league standard players. As I said earlier, we can't have too many good players.

It's understandable that his style of play could cost us in certain games. But he could also win games on his own. It all comes down to good management and knowing when to play him. Would love him back

Problem is though if we're serious about promotion then you can't afford to have someone who will cost us games. However enjoyable they are to watch when they're on their game. Which undoubtedly he was. In my opinion a luxury we can ill afford unfortunately.

I don't recall Vose costing us a game?

I see some people are ignoring the fact he was top scorer and top of the assists chart when he left.

Where exactly would we have been without those goals and assists?
