Surely having carl darlington a welsh fa employee with us should help with any access to colliers park?

Of course Moss and Roberts did us over.No-one , least of all me (hated by both ), is disputing that fact. The point is that fans, on the advice of the WST board , were wrong to trust them. Morally they were bankrupt but they , as far as I am aware, kept within legal boundaries.
Time to move on and welcome the FAW plans?
Agree with most of your comments Dave.
Whilst the trust can have been said to be duped by the rouges I don't believe that there was much of an option on the table.
It was more like agree with our proposals or we'll do what we want anyway.

Strange how people who go onto a different thread and exchange views in a dignified manner with another poster are called "fascists". I happen to have a different political opinion to Todd, exchange views, which he clearly does not agree with, but I for one have never referred to him in a disrespectful manner. I also respect his views, but not his political affiliation. Others let themselves down with comments like this.

"Good enough" , I think that the 9 Acre is fabulous but we need a long lease and a sympathetic council ( ha) that will allow us to put some temporary buildings on the land ie changing rooms, showers & loos etc. We will I expect be able to use the Colliers park facilities from time to time and who knows maybe the WFA will allow us to be the tenants as well as them ?

Asset stripping is, to my mind, stealing. At the very least it's morally wrong.
What's stopping you from doing this then and of course paying any legal fees? I think you might find it was all above board, I doubt the WST haven't looked into it.

I would prefer it if the WFA undertook to develop their own training base up here - own the freehold and not have to rely on another institution, particularly one which will probably be absorbed sometime in the future. Lease or no lease to invest so much money into a facility which one doesn't own isn't best business.

The same could also be said for WFC re the training ground but the finances at present are not favourable and the Nine acre is an ideal stop gap.

There has to be a long term plan for the club to become self sufficient in terms of a training ground - easier said than done - but achievable.

Just an opinion.

Officially above board or not, the term theft is used because deep down that is what happened. You can roll the turd in all the legal glitter you like, it still stinks.
I can appreciate that any investment north of Cardiff is something the majority have been asking for though so let's see what happens.
