BTB - Duck Race Sunday 16th July Nant Mill Coedpoeth
 

[COLOR="Red"][/COLOR]This weekend a great event and chance to take the kids out for a few hours.

Nant Mill Coedpoeth hosts the BTB Duck Race - which in fact will be a series of races and an eventual grand final and prizes for the winners.

Ducks cost £5 each and all proceeds go to the BTB fund (after the cost of the ducks). Sales have gone well with over 200 ducks already sold and a chance for anyone to purchase ducks on the day.

The junior dragons will have a stall, there will be a burger van and the Nant Mills sell drinks, ice creams etc. so it promises to be a good day out.

[COLOR="Red"]If there is anyone interested in help with the races and keep things moving, retrieving ducks at the finish etc then PM me.[/COLOR]

Ducks are still available all week and on the day as well.

Its an 11am start so get there in time to buy a duck and get a good view.

Great idea, younger kids love all that stuff and it's a good way to get them involved with the club. I'm sure it will be a good day out and more importantly a good earner

We are looking forward to running a stall at this event where you will be able to sign your children up to the Junior/Youth Dragons instantly for the season and will be selling a range of smaller items of merchandise.

New club captain, Shaun Pearson, has also kindly agreed to come along to the event and will be available for autographs and for a chat.

Good day today despite the weather being a bit gloomy and obviously put a few off.
Over 150 ducks sold in total and there were 2 side races and 1 big overall race with winners and booby prizes to be annouced.
Pearson was there signing autographs for kids and having photos.
Another boost to BTB. :)
