Whatever decisions are made off the field, right or wrong (and mistakes are bound to be made) those making them do so in good faith and for one reason. For the benefit of Wrexham AFC. Not to be sniffed at and plenty of fans elsewhere would give their right arms for it. Blackpool Leeds and Orient spring immediately to mind.

That wherever I may be (based now in Sheffield) when I mention who I support the comments and memories from others are generally highly positive about my beloved Wrexham. Now, how many football clubs are held in such high esteem by fellow football fans. (However, I may have to educate some about the dreadful asset stripping & off pitch battles of recent times etc.)
Have even convinced a Doncaster Rovers fan mate to place a £10 bet on us going up this season. Got a good vibe about this coming season.

Even if things aren't perfect on the pitch, we know everyone from the mascot to the manager is pulling in the right direction.

Keates has a 3 year deal, and this is a building project. Things are looking up, even if they take time.

whether it's kit suppliers, managers, marketing etc, you don't learn what's right unless you make mistakes, we seem to have a good kit supplier these days, club shop always has a choice, don't want to speak too soon but the manager has brought new optimism and a modern touch as opposed to 'experienced' older managers, off the field we are doing alright obviously not perfect but every season things approve and I'm just begging for us to get it right on the field now to compliment this, we need that glass ceiling smashing.

We seem to have discovered a new found professionalism throughout the club.

Another positive is the 9 Acre training ground scoffed at by the snipers when announced which has turned out to be another jewel in the crown.

The only person who doesn't make mistakes is the one that never takes a decision.

Not too long ago I was at an awards ceremony in North London. Turned out the mayor was an Arsenal supporter and we spent a pleasant few minutes recounting the worst day of his life at the hands of Wrexham FC. I had a similar experience in Thailand earlier this year with a Southampton supporter when we recalled the goal scored by Smallman in the cup. Surprising that the council does not appear to recognise the significance of the club.

The current management team (on and off the pitch) are definitely putting the pride back in to the Club and the players and supporters are responding....it could be a good season....hopefully one to remember!
