We have nothing to compare with - how well are we doing at our level ?
Played 4 pre season fixtures v lowly opposition and won them all - same as last season (so far).
We scraped a 1 - 2 win today at Stafford Rangers - to win our league we would have to do much, much better - on today's performance we have a long way to go - we struggled to score goals last season and I have a sneaking suspicion (hope I'm wrong) that even at this early stage we might struggle again in the final third - Boden looks an intelligent player but was dwarfed by their centre back - still got a few weeks to discover the magic mix.

Me too. I have quite a generous bet on us to win it. Momentum has built over the summer and if we can get a good start we should have great support all season meaning Deano can strengthen us for the business end of the season

Not having seen us yet, I'm hoping for playoffs. I will get my first look at Alty on 25th and hope to see DK's proposed regular starting XI and I will re-assess then.
