Agreed. Been there a few times, and they are a great little club. Gutted I can't make it.

Nice few pubs in the town, like the White Horse, but its a little trek to the ground.

Nantwich Town FC - Club Information (from the club website)

Weaver Stadium
Waterlode
Nantwich
Cheshire CW5 5BS

Tel: 01270 621771

Directions – Driving

If you wish to visit the Weaver Stadium, the ground is easily accessible by car, train or bus. Listed below are the various way in which you can reach the stadium:

From the M6/A51:

If coming northbound from the Midlands: Come off the motorway at Junction 16 and take the first left on the A500. Follow the A500 for around 6.5 miles, heading over several roundabouts. At the 4th roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted Nantwich Town Centre. (If approaching from the A51, follow the road until you reach a T-junction next to a housing estate. Turn left and follow the instructions from here). Follow that road, heading over a railway line as you do until it reaches a small roundabout after around 1 mile. Head straight over to the next one and turn left there, following the road round past a Morrisons on your right.

Head over the next roundabout and keep straight on. When you approach a set of traffic lights, head straight on and you will see the ground on your right hand side.

If coming southbound from the North West down the M6, it is also advisable to head to J16, come off on the slip road and take the turnoff marked Crewe, Nantwich and Chester. From there, follow the instructions listed above.

If coming Eastbound from West Cheshire/North Wales: Head down either the A51/A534 until you reach a crossroads with a set of traffic lights. Either head straight over(A51) or turn right(A534), following the signposts for Nantwich. Follow this road until you reach a canal bridge and traffic lights. At the lights, turn left, signposted Nantwich Town Centre. Follow the road and you will see the ground on your left hand side.

If approaching from Mid Cheshire(Middlewich): If coming Southbound on the A530 from Middlewich, you will reach the Alvaston roundabout on the outskirts of Nantwich. Take the 2nd exit sign posted Nantwich Town Centre. Head straight on at the next roundabout and after ½ a mile, you will reach a t-junction. Turn left at the junction and after another third of a mile, you will reach another set of lights. Turn right at the lights and follow that road through the town centre. You will reach another set of traffic lights. Turn right there and you will see the stadium ahead of you on the right.

If approaching north along the A530 from Shropshire: Follow the road into Nantwich and you will approach a t-junction. Turn left and head along that road for around half a mile. Go over a railway crossing and turn left at the roundabout. Follow the road round to the right, head over the traffic lights next to the river and you will see the ground on your right.

Other modes of transport

By Train

The stadium is not far from the train station in Nantwich. Nantwich is served by a number of services if arriving by train and the stadium is only a short walk from the station. Turn right out of the station and walk to the roundabout. Turn left and follow the road/path round the right and walk to the traffic lights next to the River Weaver. Head over the junction and keep following the main road. You will see the stadium on your right. The whole journey is just less than a mile and should take no more than 10-15 minutes.

By Bus

If heading to the game by bus from any direction, head to the Nantwich Interchange and get off there. From there, head onto the main road and turn left, heading into town. Turn right at the Home Bargains store and head between the two sets of shops. Head into the car park, going left past the local swimming baths onto the main road. Turn right onto the main road and you will see the stadium ahead of you on the right.

Yes it would be worth developing a relationship with them as several players have moved onto bigger clubs.

That's ok, my Sunday team is looking to form a relationship the other way, one of our lads is training with Nantwich (he is the manager's nephew and his cousin plays for them). Our former keeper went on to play for them and I believe is back with them pre-season. He did write to Wxm for a trial after not being offered a contract, despite an extended trial at Crewe.
