I agree the season starts in August not January, plenty of players still not fixed up I'm sure he will have other strikers on his list, depends on how much we can afford but must be some strikers released by clubs who could do it at this level.

Did I read somewhere that MM was reported as saying something like "you can't do anything with an 18 man squad in this league"? Perhaps he's getting in early with a little bit of mind games.

Right back in the changies. Nah, I like Carra as a good solid pro but personally think he'll now serve best as a back up right back or midfielder coming off the bench.

Carrington has not started in defence in any preseason game so far. He moved to left back when JJ went off in Warrington. He's Mr versatility in Keates eyes I think.
