Absolutely fantastic signing. If our back four can gel as a unit, it'll be the best we've had for many years - possibly since the early 90s.

Striker still required though, I don't know why but I have a horrible feeing that Keates will settle with Boden, Holroyd, Massanka and either Gime/a loan as his forward options in either 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formations, with Mackreth maybe being used as one of the wide players in a front 3.

Could be wrong & hope I am...

It's even more important now, when we can honestly say we have a one the best defences and midfield at this level.

Pleased with this signing, perhaps i won't have my heart in my mouth every time the opposition cross the halfway line this season.

some posters on here make me smile,

praising the signing but in the next breath asking for more, I suppose some are never satisfied with what they have in life...... Well done to everyone at the club who have worked to make some decent signings and i am certain if DK feels he needs another position strengthening it is well in hand .....

looking forward to Macc game.....
