Re: Welsh Government accused of 'passing the buck' over Wrexham's Racecourse
Ken Skates as a Wrexham supporter himself is aiming to act in our club's best interests albeit through the proper channels. Stronger links are needed between Wrexham AFC and the seemingly inept Wrexham Unitary Authority.

Re: Welsh Government accused of 'passing the buck' over Wrexham's Racecourse
I must admit that I have no knowledge or interest in the workings of the Welsh Government, but I do find it somewhat strange and a little mystifying that they can give £190,000 grant to Dylan's Restaurant, Llandudno, a private enterprise that seems to be thriving, and yet we appear to receive no financial support whatsoever.
I'm not for one minute thinking that there's a free lunch waiting for Carwyn .... |

They only have to look at nearby Denbighshire to see what some investment in tourism can do countywide, in fact some areas are becoming too popular with tourists it's been reported. To do that, Council tax would need to go up in Wrexham though, it's one of the lowest in Wales and my goodness it shows. Time for everyone to pull together to help make the town a better place, anything else is just excuses. Cardiff didn't exactly have tourists flocking there until it's major and well thought out regeneration thats always on going. |

We are financially strapped for cash in respect of ground development and whilst we can make general enquiries regarding assistance and development aid, we are unable to support such a bid financially. It would however be nice to see a long term plan being developed that supporters can get behind and contribute to with ideas for generating additional funds. I don't believe it likely that we will see any such ideas being brought forward until we return to the football league and improve our status. |

Re: Welsh Government accused of 'passing the buck' over Wrexham's Racecourse
Could we ask for a grant from the Welsh Government to get our sh't in order?
Employ external consultants re feasibility of the Kop development. Quay Red is spot on that we can ill afford 50k on feasibility studies. Are the football club asking for help? Is anybody employed at the club to sort this out? |
