My dad John Dean (Bryn Offa) (Wrexham motor trade for 50 years) sadly passed away at the weekend aged 83.

A life long Wrexham fan he enjoyed telling me of crowds of 20,000 plus when he went in the 50s and 60s. Watching the Busby Babes was a highlight for him.

He took me to my first game in 1969 (Port Vale I think)and fell in love with the club as much as he did (and the lager club!!!!!).

Funeral is at the All Saints Church, Poyser St, Wrexham on Thursday 27 July at 2pm.

RIP Dad, CMON THE TOWN !!!!!
Sorry for your loss staffordred - sad to see another red pass away.....

My Taid passed a few years ago and would have been a similar age. He loved Wrexham and always made that clear to me. Sorry for your loss.

Stafford Red, like many on this thread, my dad brought me to my first Wrexham game, lost him around 2 years ago now. Every game I attend I see as a tribute to him, I'm getting more and more involved with the club because I know that would have made him proud.

Keep going, and I know how much it hurts, because that's what our dads wanted, to pass on to us what was dear to them (I believe). It gets easier to live each day, but that's not to say you forget or miss them any less. Keep strong fellow Red, you have the support of all of us, something I found out when my dad passed.
