Last season, who would have bet before the season started that Lincoln City would go up as champions and York City would go down (again) ?

However, we do look like we are doing all 'things right and proper' and at least giving ourselves a better chance to do well than we have in years.

It's not a bad thing that they don't see us as contenders for promotion. Favorites have the pressure on them from the off. I think some teams will under estimate us

Interesting NLP today, Sam Elliott reckons Wrexham have done the best business this close season and compares them to Lincoln last season, but says the lack of a 25 goal a season striker may come back and bite them.
Adam Virgo calls Wrexham the Dark Horses for the play offs and says they are a million miles from where they were last season. In the same article he discusses Tranmere's options up front, who plays with Alabi? Norwood, Jennings, Cook or Mangan. He hints that Mellon is not keen on Cook.

I look at the squad this season and it wouldn't be out of place in league 2 I really think we can go on and win this league with the tramps from the Wirral behind us!!

I just wish DK would play what he considers to be his starting 11 before the 5 Aug. Then we can make a better opinion of where we're at and how we might do, cos the teams he's put out in the last two friendlies must be way off the mark.
