Wouldn't disagree Statto but we all know its difficulat for any team trying to get out of this league!

If you read one football forum, the vast majority tip us for a play off spot.

It's not a bad thing that they don't see us as contenders for promotion. Favorites have the pressure on them from the off. I think some teams will under estimate us

Do they not relise we have a new squad this season, we have signed players who are winners. Im so exited for this season to start because a lot of people are in for a shock this season. Maybe we are not seen as the big club we used to be anymore. But i feel this will come as an advantage this year. Lets show these clubs who we are and what we are capable of this season and take the league by storm. Come on the town ! Dean keates red and white army !

i hope everybody has this outlook in us ... the team will have enough pressure on them to begin wuith fromfans,,, withiut added expectations from outside the club

the longer we can go being underdogs and noit fancied the better ithink it will be forthe team

Interesting NLP today, Sam Elliott reckons Wrexham have done the best business this close season and compares them to Lincoln last season, but says the lack of a 25 goal a season striker may come back and bite them.
Adam Virgo calls Wrexham the Dark Horses for the play offs and says they are a million miles from where they were last season. In the same article he discusses Tranmere's options up front, who plays with Alabi? Norwood, Jennings, Cook or Mangan. He hints that Mellon is not keen on Cook.

I look at the squad this season and it wouldn't be out of place in league 2 I really think we can go on and win this league with the tramps from the Wirral behind us!!

I just wish DK would play what he considers to be his starting 11 before the 5 Aug. Then we can make a better opinion of where we're at and how we might do, cos the teams he's put out in the last two friendlies must be way off the mark.

Virgo referred to Tranmere's Jennings forward as James Jennings.
