Other concerns...even pre-bubble I have been on club buses to Chester that were sent the long way round. And the Friday night thing? Probably Exhibit A of how little the police forces concerned understand the issues, and how badly it compares to freedom on race days, when shoppers can walk past Rupert and Felicity staggering and puking in the street and there is no police concern about it. Still, we'd better be grateful because the situation will only progress as the police allow it to.

Friday night kick off for a first post bubble game.....anyone would think the Police want a bit of disorder to justify a life time of future bubble arrangements

You know the ones the previous poster was referring to just like the rest of us do !Hardly ever watch the match, come looking for trouble, never ever wear club colours etc . They hardly turn up to o most games in a season and perhaps should stay away ? I don't like Cester FC much and yes i will shout and bawl like the rest of us but violence ..no .

This is the worst decision possible. Back to a bubble before you know it.

Glad its lifted for the genuine fans, but anyone who thinks it'll go incident free is deluded, bellends from both clubs will make sure it happens, I just hope the police know who they are and either ban them from going or keep a very close eye on them.

Thats what worries me, that they use it as some sort of justification for the bubble.

Surely they could use some sort of 'safe parking' for those fans that want to travel Independently by car but not have to park in the various side streets etc.

The area behind LEGOLAND where all the coaches parked is enough to house the number of cars that would travel and they could be policed from the ground with very little resource. Likewise keep the main area behind the Tech End for away transport and police them away after the game.

Such a tiny little detail that would help the event pass without incident.

Thing is, every derby has an element of risk and trouble will almost certainly happen. The police will have to do what they're paid to do, and police it, like every other police force in the country. It's like every friday night in any town, most people go for a pint but some are intent on trouble, the police don't treat everyone as a twat do they?
