All ticket games require tickets to be purchased before the day of the game which is not the case for the MRS, where the only policy is allocated seating. The tickets are readily available from a kiosk right by the stand up until kick off and prevents confusion over seating arrangements

From a safety and legislative perspective if you pay on the turnstiles then you have to reduce the capacity of the stand by up to 20%

Reduces or eliminates the requirement to 'handle money' at the turnstile - messing about with finding change thereby increasing the speed of supporters through said turnstiles.

Other advantages - no need to transfer monies from turnstiles to club shop / office - older supporters will be able to recall the days when this was done and the person carrying the money around the perimeter of the pitch would be escorted by a police officer to his destination.

Also negates any possibility of making allegations against the turnstile operator / or genuine mistakes - it has been known for the odd turnstile operator (across the country) to pocket admission fees for themselves - not saying it happens at Wrexham but bar coded tickets bought in advance eliminate any possibility of wrongdoing.

It happened to me just the once at Anfield in the Euro's when Wales played Italy where the turnstile operator tried it on and claimed I only gave him x amount when I was entitled to change from a £20 note - turnstile didn't move and neither did I until he handed over the correct change.

This is the reason, get more in. Imagine the scenes if we do well this year with the other stands!!

Do people stick to allocated seats in there. Going in there with the kids instead of main stand this season.

Can you explain why we have to reduce the capacity? So are you saying if we had a potentially great attendance for a game, we would have empty seats because it was pay on the gate?

Would be great If I could order my pie on line and have it delivered to beat the MRS concourse traffic, no good for the waistline though
