Our last pre season friendly is this coming Saturday when we visit Chorley.

Add your pre match information to this thread to assist fellow supporters who are travelling on the day - not forgetting it's 'Open Day' at the Racecourse Sunday 1000 am until 2.00 pm.

The Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium is situated just to the south of the town centre and is easily accessible by public transport.

If you are heading to the ground using SATNAV type in PR7 3DU.

From M6, junction 27 (Standish)
•Leave motorway, and head toward Wrightington.
•Take first turning right (next to garage) into Mossy Lee Road.
•Turn right into Boundary Lane (going over motorway bridge).
•Carry on along here (road changes to Pepper Lane) to end and turn left onto Preston Road (A49) and head toward Coppull.
•Follow signs for Chorley onto Spendmore Lane at first round-a-bout.
•Drive along here following signs for Chorley.
•Once in Chorley, Spendmore Lane becomes Moor Road and then Pall Mall following traffic lights.
•Just after the Plough Inn, turn right into Duke Street, then third right (after School) into Ashby Street.
•Ground is on the right.



From M61, junction 8 (Mormon Temple)
•Leave motorway and follow signs toward Chorley town centre along A6.
•At the two round-a-bouts by B&Q, head across the first then the right exit at the immediate next.
•Go straight across the next 6 (six) round-a-bouts until you pass between Morrison's and the Ford garage.
•You will then arrive at the final round-a-bout with the Eagle Hotel in view.
•Take the third exit, then immediate first left into Duke Street.
•Then take the second left into Ashby Street.
•Ground is on the right.

Public Transport.
•The towns railway and bus stations are located near the town centre on the A6 opposite one another approximately 1/2 a mile from the club.
•On leaving either, follow signs for Bolton along A6, passing between Morrison's and the Ford garage.
•You will then arrive at the final round-a-bout, head down the third exit, then immediate first left into Duke Street.
•Then take the second left into Ashby Street.
•Ground is on the right

Admission prices

Adults and concessions - all £5.

Kids under 12 admitted free provided accompanied by a paying adult.

There is a social club inside the stadium - to access it you must pay at the turnstiles and gain entry to the ground first.

No programmes available although there will be team sheets printed and available.

50 / 50 draw - £1 per ticket.

Nearest public house 'Eagle Hotel' on Bolton Road less than 5 minutes away.

Parking - limited at the ground plus plenty of street parking (no restrictions so I'm told) - adjacent school is used for disabled parking.

We're just one week away front the start of the 2017/18 National League North season and on Saturday afternoon the Magpies welcome National League side Wrexham in their final pre-season game of 2017. The lads are hoping for a decent crowd to cheer them on to what they hope will be a second pre-season win at home.

A 3-0 defeat to Blackpool on Tuesday night doesn't sound great but Matt Jansen was pleased with the overall display his players produced and will be hoping for more of the same this weekend. Wrexham finished 13th in the National League last season and their manager, Dean Keates, will also be hoping to see a good performance from his players ahead of their kick off at home to Macclesfield Town a week later. It promises to be another intriguing match at The Chorley Group Victory Park stadium. Kick-off is 3pm.

ADMISSION PRICES

Admission is £5 for both adults and concessions. All U12’s at the game are admitted FREE if accompanied by a full paying adult. Season ticket holders are asked to use special voucher E in their booklets for admission to the game.

BAR AND FOOD FACILITIES

Chorley FC welcome all supporters into the club bar inside the ground where there is a good range of drinks available along with televised sport. We also have snack bars open inside the ground offering a great range of food include the finest locally made pies and burgers, chips, snacks and soft drinks.

MATCHDAY TEAMSHEET

There will be an A4 double sided team sheet available tomorrow priced at 50p. See one of the sellers inside or outside the ground to get your copy.

PARKING

We have an additional area Rangletts Rec off Pilling Lane for all home games. The cost of parking within the club controlled area is £3 per car per game Feel free to come to the ground if you are coming early with gates and facilities opening at 12 noon. You can park on the surrounding roads but please have courtesy for local residents. It is your choice of course but we recommend the official car park.

CLUB SHOP

The club shop will be open from 12 noon to collect season tickets and we will also have the new home and away first team kits available. Adult shirts are £37.50 while juniors are £27.50. We also have a range of merchandise on our reduced rail for £10. We look forward to making your visit an enjoyable one!
