Default Non League Paper season preview

anybody else have a good read of this today?

only Sam Elliott really has us down as a surprise package this season, everyone else favouring tranmere it seems

good comprehensive round up of the challenge ahead though and i would recommend it to people

I've read it and it will put pressure on Tranmere to succeed
The fact is that it is a team putting together decent runs that will win titles and a bit of luck with injuries, form and suspensions ,especially with a small squad.

Far better to be under the radar before the season starts and then improve as it progresses.

To be fair a few of them have been impressed with DK recruitment but it will take some time to gel and for DK to find his best formation and tactics.

Not all players will work out but certainly a lot brighter that a year ago.

Isn't it sad to be classed as a surprise package in this league?

We look at ourselves as one of the big boys in this league, that opinion is obviously not shared by people away from the club. Shows the financial doping in this league given our gates compared to the rest.

I bet Stockport and York both thought the same. We cannot continue to complain about the lack of existence of FFP in this league as the number of up and coming 'boys with their toys' chairmen is on the increase.

Whilst DK has considerably improved our situation it is obviously clear that an increase in revenue is paramount for continued improvement. BTB shows the importance of an extra £50k or so.

Hopefully luck will be with us this season and it'll happen, (and I am beginning to think it will be this season) but.....

If it doesn't, hopefully the optimism and good performances will keep gates higher than expected so we can add the final pieces, if needed, to do it next year.
