Default Re: Booing

Some will have been booing the ref and some just boo when we lose. I thought the response from the players at half time was good and they deserved a light clap. Each to their own.

Fact is for many " fans " , it's all about winning. They only identify with that and won't appreciate a good performance by an opponent or be happy unless they win. It's why so many " plastics " are found around the town wearing ManUre and Liddypool shirts. Hence the song " you only sing when you're winning ".

Heard 'him' a season or two ago, I am convinced it is a fictional character put on.

Radio Wales happy to play it as creates controversy and makes the show relevant perhaps?

I felt that even if we had scored today it would have been disallowed for offside or a push. The officials give us nothing.

But the ref did disallow the Macclesfield late second 'goal' on the linesman's flag - presumably for offside. Looked a well worked goal too but I was the Tech End so no idea if it was or wasn't offside but think most of us thought it was a valid goal by the audible sound of 'groans'.

In fairness we weren't good enough and lacked any cutting edge in the final third - it's nice to gain a favour but over 90 minutes I can't recall Jalal having a save to make - therin lies the real problem.

I didn't hear any booing in The Yale.

A few were booing that there was no running water in the gents though. Disgraceful really. Gallons of water sprinkled onto the pitch before the game and at Half time but fans couldn't wash their hands in the bogs.

They could wash their hands in the bogs, but I wouldn't advise it as they couldn't wash them in the sinks after.....
