Default Travel to Maidenhead from Stoke/Staffordshire

Is there anybody on here planning on travelling down tomorrow afternoon from the Stoke/Staffordshire area? Looking to car share if possible! Thanks

Its a long way - stick to the original plan !

Good luck - think if we had got a good result on Saturday then interest would have gone up a notch - instead it's gone the other way.

Do be honest Maidenhead followed by Dover followed by Maidstone and Boreham Wood for our first four away matches is a real horror and adds to the sensible requirement to regionalize the leagues - pre season friendlies I went to Warrington Town, Stafford Rangers, Altrincham - I wont be travelling those distances for our league games - too far and too long a day. Boreham Wood on a bank holiday - no thanks.

Spare a thought for those Dover fans travelling all the way to Hartlepool - and then back home again - total madness.

Good luck to anyone travelling to Maidenhead on Tuesday - had to look it up on the atlas as I didn't know where it was 'exactly' - half way to France - see you at the Gateshead match

Wrexham to Maidenhead 182 miles - journey time just over 3 hours.

Think of Reading and its' to the east between Reading and London.

Sounds like one of those places you would never know and never visit unless you follow a football club in the National League.

The Prime Minister lives in and is MP for Maidenhead, but yep ordinarily you would be bang on with that comment Red Light.

It's not ideal for you lot coming down from North Wales, but at least it's this side of London for you, and not too bad from the M40. Certainly a lot easier than the likes of Dover and Maidstone the next two away games after this.

My work had office is in Maidenhead. Tried to wangle a trip down but everyone is out on annual leave. Gutted as if it had been in September I could have had a paid trip down.
