Phew! For 20 minutes we were all over 'em but then it went back to the familiar heart in the mouth will we won't we score against a poor team. We made them look good for the most part of the game.

It's a tight race for that 3rd place and Bromley are in the hunt with their games in hand - we have to damage their prospects on Friday.

The bottom four now look pretty secure and can look forward to playing Altrincham next season.

Frustration! The fans showed it and the players showed it. An ugly game where we could have defeated the referee bias if our players had kept their mouths shut and concentrated on playing football.

The PPG table now shows us 6th. Another defeat and we'll be in a bloody battle for the final playoff spot which will culminate on the last day of the regular season. Sadly, goal difference may be the key and Dover, Fylde and Bromley all have better GDs. I fear that our team does not have the right temperament for that last game against Fylde. Let's hope we've won a couple of games before then.

There is something to cheer tonight! On Saturday Night Takeaway, Wales beat England in the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" final.

And so, Chester are relegated and Wrexham cannot now win automatic promotion. We need a couple of wins at least from these last four games - not sure where the goals will come from.

Meanwhile, Macc will be declared champions on Saturday if they win and Tranmere do not win.

PPG puts us finishing 5th. For this to be more apparent I would have to extend the points per game total points to 5 decimal places as we are ahead of Fylde by 0.00002 pts and Boreham Wood by 0.00004 pts. Very tiny consolation there.
