A clean sheet, 4 goals, a hat trick, what more could you ask? OK it was Torquay who play nice football - just not very well. But we're 3rd in the PPG table and, for what it might be worth, we have a game in hand.

I won't post stats again until after the Hartlepool game. By then Dagenham may have pushed us down 1 slot on goal difference and Tranmere could be breathing down our necks, but we'll still have a game in hand over both.

I don’t understand the rush to get these stats out especially when they are presented incomplete. I am not going to tell you where the gaps are but I’ll give you a clue:

League Stats, Torquay row 2x Change columns - missing figures 13 & 9

You’re not going to get any further clues.

P.S. not that anyone would be interested but we have only one of the top 8 teams to play away, but four of them have to visit us.

Coming from someone who told me on Christmas Eve that I should be concentrating on getting the stats out rather than wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!

I really enjoyed that one and we could/should have earned 3 points despite Tranmere being a very good side!

The crowd was magnificent and, even if nobody attends another game, we will be virtually on budget for the season! Effectively, all pay on the day fans in the seven remaining home games will be putting their money directly into BtB for next season!!

Jennings earned his 9th yellow last night. He now has to be a good boy until 12th March i.e. after the Chester game, to avoid a 2 match ban. This pre-supposes that the Chester game takes place.
