I know people sometimes email the club and don't hear anything back, but I've always had a prompt reply to my emails and I'm sure people at the club are keen to get things sorted out. I'd suggest that everyone who's posted about their frustrations on this thread also send an email, politely worded, to whoever is in charge of catering. (Geoff Scott ?)
All businesses need accurate feedback to improve, and if a number of people have the same concern it should move up the priority list. There have been some good ideas for solutions on here and the club needs to hear them.

Too true ORR. I walked past the coffee bar under the Yale Stand and even my 30 year old son (who has never had to be price savvy) mentioned how steep the prices were. Are we accustomed to being ripped off at stadiums?
At a league game, the last thing I bought from a kiosk, was "the pie" at Kidderminster. It was not cheap, but it was a monster of high quality.

Think Phil Bennett might be responsible for the staffing levels and ensuring stock available. Don't think the staff are allowed to serve people until the half time whistle (Football regulations/ground licensing) but surely pouring some drinks and leaving under the counter would help save waiting time. The club knew there was going to be a larger than normal attendance so no excuses of having insufficient staff or stock. Nothing changes.

As well as this, a better job should have been done organising a queuing system. Some people joined from the front, as you would at the pub. Others from the side. That was a disaster and caused a lot of people to just walk away.

I did get a response last time, but all I got was a demeaning 'we'll look into it'. I'd rather they not reply than lie to me.

Someone else can try if they wish, but I'd say it's a waste of time.

I went to The Test Match at Old Trafford on Friday. At one of the kiosks they had about 50 pints of lager and 50 bitters poured ready on the bar. Customers were being served very quickly and the queuing was at a minimum.

It's just such an obvious thing to do.

My lad had a hot dog and as usual it was crap for that price. My steak pie on the other hand was very nice. Why dont we do kids snacks ? Everything's large and over priced.
