Lloyd's for me pint and a meal less than £5.

All in all a poor customer service and this gives ammunition to those that think the WST are in charge in name only.

* Beer isn't a short life perishable so why not stock the bars adequately?
* Hot food is slightly different as you don't want to have wasted stock but
supplement this with other crisps/snacks.
* Jones bar needs to be overhauled and brought up to a spec to cope with the
demand and requirements in the Tech End.
* Pricing I guess is set by the club but if the quality and the service is good
then not many complain.
* Staffing of the kiosks does need to be reviewed and they should open as
soon as the HT goes and not 3-4 minutes later.

It really needs customer opinion to improve this.

Is it a rip off or just the going rate you'd expect to pay at a sporting venue?

I'd rather a "fresh" burger from Chris de Burger outside the ground than pay for some warm and soggy inside a paper bag.

You can get 4 sausage rolls from Greggs for a few quid, in the ground it's over £10!

Good food and a good pint in the 1864.
Beer is average town price unless you go to Spoons.

Food and drink have been a complete rip off for years and once the club took control of the ground I had high hopes this would change. Clearly hasn't and our "community club" continues to openly rip their own fans off without a care. To add into this the piss poor service described on this thread is beyond a joke.

Always found that if you're in the ground before half 2 the service is fine in the MRS. And in recent seasons the quality of the pies has improved as well. Don't even think the prices are that bad.

Agree with most of that but with most football/sports clubs the main market and time to make money is half time, and clearly (I didn't go on Saturday) that is still an area that needs improving.

Personally think the pies are decent and reasonably priced for a football ground

It depends where you normally get your price bearings. I can't forget my mining village roots, so I shop in Aldi/Lidl. Standingroomonly2 is clearly a Waitrose girl/boy !
