Default Coastal Bus.

Does anyone on here know, if the intended coach from Pwllheli, via Porthmadog, Bala and Corwen actually ran for the Macc game on Saturday. If it did run, as advertised on the official club site, any feedback would be welcomed, as I'm likely to use the service for future games. Thanks.

There were only seven of us on it. Two of us came up in Pwllheli, two from Porthmadog and three from Bala. Was expecting a coach and more support to be honest. Alun the driver was first class.

With such low numbers, its unlikely to run again, at such a loss. Pity, but I don't think a great thought was put into the venture, with very little advertising and information being available. Supporters who come from those areas, already have their arrangements in place, and have done so for a long time, as they say, old habits die hard.

And not everyone dabbles with social media. Disadvantaged again!

True that existing supporters will already have their travel arrangements in place. I went from 6 miles out of Pwllheli to Wrexham but a 10.30 start was far too early for me so I went by car .A good idea but until there is a sizeable Lleyn supporters group this is unlikely to happen again.

Sorry to say I don't think this was ever a feesable starter - simply not enough people will use it regularly enough.

I used to travel to away game quite a lot - asked several times if away coaches could be laid on from venues alternative to Wrexham,

If you live in Deeside its frustrating to have to drive to Wrexham to board the coach only for it to virtually pass your house an hour later on it's way to a north west based match. If we combined Mold, Buckley and Deeside it could work as there would be enough numbers to use the service - indeed this was done on the odd occasion but not often.

I suppose we are trying it in an effort to generate more numbers and income into HOME matches.

Do the club ever advertise anything? Other than through it's own social media and sharing on fans forums etc?

It was advertised on the YouTube channel also at the beginning of some videos not all but maybe a lack of home fixtures for friendly games could of been the communication breakdown as without those and if a person genuinely has no social media in this day and age what is there really we could do.
