Calon Fm

I listened to Calon fm last night. it kept dropping out for which they apologized. it went off about 5 mins before half time.
By the time it came back on in second half I found that we were drawing 1 - 1.

If we get 5-6000 crowds at home matches, and about 650 away support, how do radio wales think the other 4500 can listen to match unless they park on Mold road.

If there is no home match on a weekend, I take my wife out for a few hours shopping.
If we go to Oswestry, Mold. Llandudno. Broughton, or Cheshire Oaks I can still listen to the match. I think her weekend outings on non match day will be restricted in Sainsburys on Plas Coch.
To say I am disappointed in an understatement.

Unfortunately if they are reliant on internet connections at the respective grounds it is in some way out of their hands. And sitting on Mold Road won't help either as the signal from calon would be strong but if the link isn't getting to there it doesn't matter!

You can listen to Calon FM online. Download the Tunein app on your phone and as long as you have a 3G signal your sorted.

I can only echo the frustrations. The commentary was great, especially in comparison with Radio Wales (Rob Phillips is fine but he was hung out to dry at the game by himself) but the cut outs made it unlistenable (hence how I know how Rob Phillips did). I want to support Calon but the technology must improve or nobody will listen.

It didnt work for me, either on tablet or phone. It kept asking for payment for downloading the Tubein app. I have Calon FM stored in bookmarks and I can normally listen to live broadcast or listen again, but neither of these are now available. Probably me being a technophobe, but thanks to radio wales on-line, bring back WxmPlayer.

I downloaded the app but it wouldn't work, tried listening direct from thevwebsite and that wouldn't work either. Had to settle for a poor Radio Wales.

Breaking up a lot in the Southsea area, can it be improved or is that how its going to be.
