I'm talking from a position of blindness as I was reliant on the commentary but I didn't get the impression that the Calon commentary was one eyed, we were able to hear a perfectly reasonable assessment of Rutherford being dominated by their full back without it being accompanied by a load of Ratcliffe/Legg "waaaa this wouldn't happen if I was manager" beating of players with sticks. Radio Wales' "change of priorities" shone through, leaving a capable commentator all at sea by himself, and I'd suggest that their robust feed is their only saving grace now. If Calon sort out their connectivity (which may be a big if) they'll clean up.

Will there be a link for todays game on the bbc wales radio web site. That is assuming that calon has the same problems re long periods with no connection.

Would love Calon FM to get to a level where we could tell Radio Wales to "Do one!" as they say in the capital of North Wales and ban the BBC from the Racecourse thanks to their piss poor representation of Wrexham AFC.

Telling an organisation which can give us exposure to a massive audience seems a touch misguided to me.

As an expat its very fortunate that at least we have 2 options available.
Leaving aside commentary skills for a moment, Calon seems to have technical problems dependant on the host club, whereas BBC seems to have a random policy on whether to allow overseas IP addresses to access the feed (by the way, this seems to be a problem exclusive to BBC Wales as I can always access the other games that I have no interest in)
So sometimes (like last Tuesday) I have a choice of an intermittent Calon and a silent BBC or (like last Saturday) I get 2 pristine signals.
It certainly creates a tension in the minutes leading up to kickoff wondering whether I can listen in or not
