Rhys Murphy is still at FGR, training with their academy and not part of the first team, and has been told he can leave.

He has 2 years left on what is probably a very decent contract.

Sinclair, Murphy, Robert and Racine free to leave Forest Green (From Stroud News and Journal)

It would be great to get someone like him even on loan, with us paying part of his wages.

Hurray. Another manager you're not willing to give a chance to.

He's compiled a squad of experienced Conference players; many who've achieved at this level and it's still not enough. He's got a much sought after coach in Darlington and it's not enough.

The least we can do as supporters is support the team otherwise you'll spend your life thoroughly cheesed off!

All this panicking by the same people on here isn't really good enough. You have no knowledge of his dealings but you're willing to criticise him. Frankly, I'm happy Keates is a bit more cautious as opposed to panicking and signing Michael Bakare.

We have to simply back Keates and his team because there are precious little alternatives.

I couldn't agree more.

Keates has assembled a great squad to date, but it isn't complete yet.

We have given him a three and a half year contact. I thought that was madness. But now we do have to have faith in him. Patience - you don't have to be world beaters to get in the top seven positions. Just wish the club would be a bit more honest about the lack of resources we have so we can be more realistic.

Can people stop talking bollocks....the fact we only have Boden and Massanka available is a joke, end of. Oh, and the most average basic footballer known to man in midfield.

On paper, before the start of the season at least, the signings didn't smell of being on the cheap side ( albeit a small squad)

His length of contract is irrelevant.

I'm all for being open and honest but a club like Wrexham cannot tell its fans we're hoping for mid table. That sends out the wrong message to potential targets and people through the gate.

You're absolutely right about giving him patience
