Rushmoor Borough Council Award Financial Support To Aldershot - The Vanarama National League

The Shots benefit financially from their local Borough Council in having rate reductions. Wonder whether WCBC have ever been approached with such an idea and what the response might be!

Don't know how much Aldershot pay in rent but the ground is owned by Rushmoor Borough Council.

Wouldn't happen for us as the ground is owned by the University. Im sure if the council did own the ground they wouldn't give us any support.

Yes, the club did approach WCBC I'm pretty sure - after hearing Chester were getting a deal.This was probably 2-3 years back from memory.
