Re: Southern Bias
Haruki: Ebbsfleet is in north Kent, south of the Thames - formerly Gravesend and Northfleet! London is obviously a strong catchment area for players but by and large, history has shown an even proportion between north and south clubs in both promotion and relegation from the National League.

Re: Southern Bias
Easy to see why players stay down south. Most players at this level frequently move clubs as contracts are short. It probably saves moving the family to new houses every summer. The main benefit to us is that we are close to Liverpool which produces a lot of footballers, there have been a lot of scousers to put on the wrexham shirt in recent years

Re: Southern Bias
I remember talking to Joey Jones when he played at Chelsea he was still living in Wrexham he said it was so expensive to live down there. He would travel down to London 2 or 3 times a week to train with them.
