The sad thing is I think I general the quality of opponents we are facing is generally poorer as well. bar Lincoln last season.

Carrington I would have on the bench because he can cover both full back positions and do a defensive midfield job if needed.

All this continual moaning about him won't stop the manager picking him he is vice captain, Keates has played him, Mills kept him and played him, Morrell signed and played him, Wilkin played him also.

So what does that tell you about Carrington?
Do the experts here all know better than all those managers?

No of course you don't.

He wouldn't be in the team if I picked it but definitely on the bench for his versatility, but I hate this continual slating of our players, if they don't put in a shift fair enough they deserve stick.

I don't rate Massanka didn't last season, as stated many times he don't have the pace a lot think he has, he is timid scared of a tackle, couldn't head a ball to save his life, but his biggest weakness is no close control, non-league is his level and lower than the National league, yes he is young but seems to be going backwards, but nobody can fault his effort and hardwork although he don't appear to have good stamina.

But having said all that Keates sees something in him and when he is on the pitch I will support & encourage him like all the players.

Carrington slagging is basically the British mentality blame culture way, I don't rate Rutherford and wouldn't of kept him also, but another who puts in the effort.

System we are playing and in a way it should be implemented. If we play Hoff ball there is no need for wingers. So if it's Hoff ball, play it to your advantage, three up front play the percentage game and get your shots off. Three dogs of war in midfield with a flat back four.
If we win one nil that way, IL take that if it gets us out of this God forsaken league.
When Dean was made manager I did think it was the right choice, but I have said in the past he needs a more senior man along side him. In the the way Newport brought in Lenny Lawrence and it worked there. Stay with him and hopefully it will come good.
so, how does the Hoff play Ball?

You defend him then say you wouldn't pick him in your team? If that's not contradicting yourself I don't know what is.

Also those said managers that picked him that you've highlighted, successful were they? Get us promotion did they? No of course they didn't as ultimately they all failed to achieve what they were employed to do i.e. Get promotion. So I wouldn't be holding them up as examples. Unless you want examples of failure.

Fans not rating him and not ignoring his years and years of hiding during games and not doing anything of note is just brutal honesty and wanting this club to get promoted. Most fans with eyes wide open know that he's simply nowhere near good enough.
Forget all this happy clapping fairytale nonsense that some fans just blindly rate any Wrexham player just because they play for Wrexham. It's pure fantasy.

It's nothing to do with blame culture either and if you think it is please point out what he offers on the pitch that we are all missing? This is something everyone who defends him fails to do and avoids such mole because there is nothing.

On the bench! He is the only hope of a striker getting on the score sheet!
