Yes the referees in this league are shite. But this guy was embarrassing last season when he came to the racecourse. Can't remember the game now but there were times when we were laughing at decisions he awarded us he was that bad. Clear to all the reason he isn't picked up on it by his superiors.
Wasn't at the game so can't comment on his performance but the reports from those there don't surprise me. As somebody has said it takes a lot to book 4 players in the 1st 30 minutes and is bound to effect the way a team plays after that.

I have heard that Darlington is not involved with tactics only the fitness regime. Needs to be changes guickly.

Wasn't at the game thankfully. Have to say though, I feel sorry for the loyal travelling fans having to be subjected to performances like this and then just to add insult to injury have the manager roll out the usual excuses ( as he will )
Perhaps a free pass to the next game or a refund for the trip away would be a good club gesture. I know it won't happen, but you never know. At the very least an apology from the manager would be nice. At the moment I think he is out of his depth and needs to admit it to himself and bring in some backroom experience. Surely,as an ex player,he can see where he is going wrong tactically. Good on all you fans for making the effort to turn up,shame the team can't.

Supposed to be an FA policy to fast track ex-players??

Everyone was overjoyed with signings a few weeks back, the problem with them is simple, the reason they are in the conference is league clubs don't want them. We pick from an ever increasing shit pile from league two, and the over confidence in this dross is laughable. Darlington also making a huge difference, when everyone said the messiah had arrived. Cheap non league cast offs, no tactical nous and inept management up top from the boardroom to the dugout all equal the same shite year in year out. How can anyone say the current model is working and keep the faith. This club has drastic issues and people need to get their heads out of the sand and their arses.

Agreed, they were very honest about our display.

The ref booked 3 out of our 4 defenders in the first 20 mins, then awarded a dubious free kick for their second goal.

Mark Griffiths also thought Manny's tackle for the penalty was from around the side, hence not a tackle from behind. Need to see the footage, but this could mean an appeal with Manny just out for the 1 game instead of 3.

Sounds another away shambles yet again.

I am completely baffled by Keates and Darlo acceptance of mediocrity, I expected much better.

It's been said before but too many underperformers and a shambles of a midfield.
Hmmm fishing or football next Saturday now, I cannot watch another season of dross.

Not true.

They both work on tactics together, Darlington oversees the in-depth analysis that's done on both our squad and the opposition.

The problem might be that he's only in one day a week (he works on some analysis at home on an evening).

This is from Darlington himself.
