Default Verdict from 3 away games

Not a regular poster but having been to the three southern away games, here's my verdict.

Dunn - fine

Dibble - diabolical first half today. Looked at fault for the first game but more worryingly every kick went straight out. Second half though to be fair he was immense and saved everything.

Jennings - worst player on the pitch for all three games. Not a single pass played on the floor and skinned several times. Responsible for us losing the ball way too many times with his awful weird chipped clearances and hoofs.

Pearson - class act. Only defender who actually plays a pass and looks a cut above and leader on the pitch.

Manny - lucky he got his two goals as feel that has saved him criticism. Honestly feel he has been very poor. Hoofs every clearance and always a yard off the pace. If he had stayed on the pitch that long after a clear red card in the premier league he'd have a multi match ban

Roberts - solid but unspectacular right back. Can't pass on the floor but solid in the tackle.

Carrington - zero positives in 270 minutes. Absolute disgrace in his response to the sending off. Get rid. Absolutely anonymous.

Wedgbury - hard working and signs of quality. Only player who really tried today and looks like he has class despite some poor decisions

Wright - anonymous against Dover but looked miles better than Carra in his two sub appearances

Rutherford - worked hard and some good crosses, hard to see why he is criticised so much

Kelly - first touch a class above most of our other players and a decent cross but barely has seen the ball, wasted on the wing

Mackreth - has pace but haven't seen enough of him

Boden - hasn't done anything apart from a few snatched shots but hasn't really had the ball played to him in dangerous areas. When the defenders are hoofing every ball he doesn't stand a chance

Massanka - very raw and has his flaws but also gives us a different edge. Hasn't had the ball played through for him to run on to and play to his strengths so is always going to struggle with high balls

Reid - looks a cut above and took his chance really well today

And finally, at least Mills used to applaud the fans when we lost. Keates came over at Maidenhead but was nowhere to be seen for the other two games. That's not good enogh.

That's because he was berating the ref apparently

Everything you say relates to how things have been at the Racecourse too.

James Jennings is a fcuking garbage player, just amazed that it wasn't him sent off. All he does is give the ball away, get skinned and then booked for arguing.

Agree with most of this.

Pearson is the shining light.

Wedgebury would be decent if he had some support.

Carrington is not a centre mid thank god he's banned.

Massanka has been abused at every game but at least he's an outlet.

We've won twice and changed the team both times.

We'll finish 11th ish

Passing above head height and not passing on the floor aren't mutually exclusive. Every pass is to someone's thigh and when they can't control it that's an issue

It surprised me Jennings was signed on, didn't impress me last season especially considering the circumstances also. A bit of a gobsh*te like his brother who many wanted back, too busy blaming others for his mistakes like Connor would do.
