Boden is doing the link work that Holroyd should have been doing but he's not as good at it.

Having a pop at 6000 plus fans who came to the first match full of expectation is a cop out if you ask me. Should DK be exempt from critisism? No. Should he come under fire yet ? No. Is it the fans fault for wanting and yes expecting the best of the club ? Laughable.

We need to see how good Boden is in the box; but like our other strikers he needs service.

Up his game by doing what? Dropping to halfway and creating his goals for himself from there? I've only gone to home games but he couldn't have done anymore with no quality ball in those and the idea that everyone's fair game when the team doesn't win is poisonous. You can't stop players being criticised but people need to at least look at the right ones. A lot of people look at Jordan White's three goals (and I think he was worth another go here) but would he really have scored in this team?

I think White would have struggled with the service we are supplying its thats poor.

Until Keates changes or reinforces the midfield any striker we have is going to struggle. Id say at present getting a decent midfielder in is more of a priority than a striker.

That 10 games will be here before we know it and if we are still getting similar performances and results then the knives will be out for Keates.
