If Boden is our best striker then we are in deep trouble - waste of space and makes Bishop look like a high energy Gerd Muller.

Boden needs to up his game like a number of our players. Whether he's coming back to fitness or not he's shown little sign of the quality expected.

IF only DK can kick arse and get the slackers to buck up (Jennings, Mackreth, Kelly and Bowden) we'll see a win on Saturday. We cannot continue to carry so many passengers. They need to man-up!

We cannot expect Manny, Pearson and Reid to carry the others!

I am rapidly coming to the same conclusion as Foxy and those ICT fans.

Boden is a waste of a shirt - he looks weak and knackered before the pre match warm up's over. Any coincidence that in recent games he lasts about an hour before he gets substituted ?

At this current time we have to play our most effective goalscorer straight down the middle - Reid.

Keates first major mistake - releasing Jordan White who scored again for Barrow - it would have been ok to release him if he could be replaced - but there is a glaring gap in the middle of our forward line for a big mobile target man.

Pre season Leo Smith looked a shining light yet continually gets overlooked - DK needs to play his best eleven and not put players on the team sheet based on their previous history and age / old pals act.

Formation 4 - 3 - 3 especially as we are at home and the emphasis is on us to take the game to Woking - Rutherford is looking more lively than the ineffective Mackreth so he gets the nod to start from me.

Dunn or Dibble

Roberts Marx Pearson Jennings

Kelly Wedgbury Wright

Massanka Reid Rutherford

Subs
Leo Smith
Hurst
Mackreth
?
?

If Manny Smith's red card appeal is a winner then Marx can drop to subs bench.

Still no news on Dunn situation - will he be fit for next Saturday ?

The squad looks lightweight for numbers doesn't it ?

Exactly. Whilst we continue to carry several passengers we will continue to struggle. Its a counter argument to the 'players at this level' in that one thing that should be expected is that they at least do their best and at the moment this does not seem the case with far too many of them.

I think Kelly has had a fair chance and I would prefer to see either Rutherford deployed on the left for his work rate or Leo given a go there (mainly because he has said he plays on the left).

Wedgbury, Wright and Hurst as the midfield 3 or make up the 4.

Reid +1 up front (neither Boden/Massanka are better or worse than each other).

Boden is a much much better player technically than Massanka. Massanka had a lot more pace. Both have stuff to offer the team. I still think Boden is the best bet out of the two for a decent goal return.

The problem with Boden is that the formation issied have led to him dropping deeper and deeper to try and retrieve the ball. A player coming off a bad season and needing a bit of a boost in confidence isn't going to respond well to that situation. He's got a bit of a reputation for letting his head drop when things aren't going well. He needs help not just being dropped.

Agree about Leo Smith. However with regards to White, yes he has started well at Barrow but we can only judge him on his time here. At no point did he look like the target man you are looking for.

Two things trouble me regarding Jordan White.

Paul Cook at Barrow couldn't sign him quick enough when we released him.

And if your going out shooting bears in the woods you don't give away your hunting rifle without lining up a replacement - it's coming back to haunt us (but I agree he didn't set the world alight did he? but he's looking good now so are our tactics under DK partly to blame ?)
