Possibly, that said he looked like he had basic flaws in his ability to hold the ball up and his heading was woeful. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I was all for releasing him but Barrow fans will be thinking I am mad at the moment.

Slightly harsh on Mackreth who has not had a fair opportunity in my view. Not sure if Jennings is slack or just not very good. Agree on the other 2 though they are going through the motions.

Why is everyone choosing Roberts ahead of Hurst ? The former has been very poor , given a "torrid" time at Dover according to Radio Wales and a "torrid" time at Maidstone according to the Daily Post. He needs pulling out and replacing. Astonishing that we have paid fee for him and have a decent right back in Carrington , who has been played out of position unsuccessfully.

Kelly and Boden are not bothered and also need pulling. Leo Smith deserves his chance instead of Kelly , and anyone off the street can be put in instead of Boden.

Why Rutherford? Shown more commitment than Mackreth, just needs to find a better end product.

Why Massanka? Well, Boden is doing nothing and Reid seemed to link up better with Ntumba so why not.

Re Rutherford. Considering his age him finding an end product at this stage of his career is slim to none. In my opinion we need to drop this policy of persisting in playing players that just aren't good enough. It's futile. For all the work Rutherford does there is zero end product. Keates is gonna have to get brutal admit his mistakes and sort the team out.

Probably true. but what has Mackreth done to warrant a start?

I guess you could play Leo up there, or try Freeman?
