Someone should have known at the beginning of negotiations whether there was an agent ?

I have no objection if DK doesn't want to pay an agent but how can you get that far without knowing ? Has the player not mentioned it ? In which case it makes you wonder also.

If we are unable to understand that we will have an agents fee as part of our negotiation to get a reasonable striker even st our level, we will be still saying the same thing 10 years from now. It needs a more detailed explanation to fans to keep them on board. Without Reid's contribution at the moment, we are left with two strikers who in 5 games can not hit a barn door.

I thought that the recent regulations meant that as an agent you are representing the player OR the club. You shouldn't get double dip payments. If he is representing the player the player should pay him a percentage. If we asked the agent to set up the deal for the club then the club should pay the percentages.
