Even if the ref is, as here, useless if a player gets carded for g*bbing off that is never going to be overturned on appeal. To me getting cards for g*bbing off, rather than fouls or technical infringements which often need to be made for the team/to stop the opposition are stupid.

And with a ref like that Carrington knew what he was like so whilst I'm not as down on him as many on here it was a stupid thing to do always going to result in a red card.

A few players surrounded the official when Manny got his red card, and yet only Carrington got a yellow card. I thought players weren't allowed to talk to the official only the captain.

I'm fairly sure I read a few seasons ago that the Welsh clubs above non-league are dealt with by the FA.

I think that's going too far. Carrington is a trier, good pro, loyal and a decent right back back. Keates is a hardworking manager who probably needs time and the right advice and monitoring to develop. Neither deserve that.
