Lost revenue

Third home game this season went for a beer at half time in MRS third game in a row didnt get one as queues massive with bar near kop end not open.... cant only be me that is doing this.... feel guilty because as a season ticket holder this is one of the ways I can contribute financially on match day....

Yup there was two queues and people in middle all trying for a drink,I'm not pointing fingers but surely something can be done to organise it a bit better.
Can the staff behind the counter not start opening up bottles a little earlier and have them on counter ready for half time.This is not a criticism but feel its an issue that needs sorting as there is so much revenue being lost its a shame really because its a simple .Please can someone tell me why the bar is not open until dead on half time?

Something needs to be done here. Pretty obvious that there is a demand from Joe Public to spend money, and they are frustrated in the process. I know, why don't we charge to use the Toilets - Llangollen council seem to think that this is the way forward! The state of my prostate, if I start drinking Pints at a footy match, I will see more of the bogs than the game.

Not sure if the club could make it work, but drinks could be paid for before the game, with one staff member just handing the prepared order straight out in exchange for a numbered token. The design of the MRS is not ideal with the bar directly opposite the food bar but not sure if anything can be done about that.

Seems a very decent solution, think you should definitely email the Club with that mate.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if WST management went at half time and pulled a few pints? Then they might realize the problems and lost money, and they might just improve the situation.

I mentioned in a similar thread earlier in the season that we were told last year by the girl working behind the bar that they couldn't pre-pour or open. She said it was part of the licencing agreement and that she had to wait until a steward gave her a signal that the half time whistle had blown.
The idea of vouchers seems like a good idea to cut down on time though.

Been to the Gabba in Brisbane a few times recently, usually crowds of about 20,000 and to my knowledge only 2 food and drink outlets open in my area. Lots of food and drink available with either no queue or very short queue. 2 payment tills( one cash, one card )but away from food. Food just placed on counter and take what you are going to buy. No actua l conversation with person behind counter they just serve up the food. Drinks open and served on bar ready to be taken. Seems to work.

I've been once this season and the whole match day experience in the MRS was so awful Il try the Yale stand next time

Can someone confirm the cent bar is open at half time for all wxm fans in Yale stand ? Can you pre order drinks ?
