Who's going?

What team shall we field?

After missing Woking, I'll be driving down tomorrow in the hope of getting 3 points against the league leaders. They sound a tidy outfit this season and without the pressure of having fans to play in front of, they will make it difficult for us.

First away game of the season for me. Their record so far suggests it will not be nil nil as they have scored 15 and conceded 10 in 6 games. They have however already lost at home so if our defence can live up to our expectations we might be able to snatch a goal and sneak a cheeky win.

As always, living in hope and optimism rules.

Two of their wins have come against Torquay and Solihull so they might not be as strong as the table originally suggests. 1-0 Wrexham.

I should say third in the table, not top.

Last time I looked at the table was before Tranmere equalised against them.

Another tough game against one of these difficult times beat teams the league seems full of this season (Bromley, Maidstone, Sutton etc) I think we are the better team in terms of personnel but if we don't play well we could easily lose this one.

Hopefully a solid defense will allow us to nick a winner.

But we haven't lost by more than 1 goal this season.

It comes to something when you'd take a point against Borehamwood however, I'm sure there isn't much between our respective wage bills.

Said to myself after the Dover and Maidstone games there was no way I could stomach this one. Of course, now I'm definitely going. Cheered slightly by what sounds like a (marginally) improved performance yesterday. I genuinely believe we do have some decent players and things will start to click at some point, albeit perhaps not to the degree we were hoping 3 weeks ago.
