It goes the other way around as well. If you have a good defence it gives the keeper a great deal of confidence as well.

I agree and what is important is they all appear to know what is expected of them, uncertainty is the biggest issue for a defensive unit but we seem to have a 5 with good knowledge of their respective roles and Dibble knows when to come and catch. There was only one moment yesterday when he raced out of his area and could have been in big trouble had the ref not blown for an offence against them. But as we keep saying we are in the 5th division so all players will have flaws but yesterday that moment aside Dibble looked assured and technically very capable.

Really hope we're not gonna jinx him, he has done excellent and long may it continue, but just hope Torquay don't get their 1st win against high flying wrexham .Be nice to see a whole 90 mins of football like the 2nd half of Saturdays game.Come on Dibble you can do it.

A goalkeeper is really part of a unit of 5 with a back 4 who, collectively, have confidence in each other and protect one another. I am really impressed by how Dibble has slotted in .. 2 penalty saves show individual ability but working with two quality centre backs has helped gel this 5 man section of the team. A bit more cohesion with midfield and our strikers and we really will be serious contenders to win this league.
