Next away - Tranmere Rovers Sat 23/09
With two home fixtures this week - Hartlepool United (Tuesday) & Guiseley (Saturday) there are extra opportunities for the club to sell tickets especially to 'out of towners' who may only be visiting the Racecourse / Wrexham for our matches - remembering that not everybody, especially those of a certain age are on line computer users. Hopefully some news of our ticket allocation and selling arrangements will be released in the next 24 hours or so. But, given our recent form and lofty position in the league table will we sell out our ticket allocation ? |

Re: Next away - Tranmere Rovers Sat 23/09
From the National League stadium guide...........
Away fans are housed in the affectionately named Cowshed Stand at one end, where up to 2,500 fans can be accommodated. You will be relieved to know that the only connection with a real cowshed is the name, as the fairly new covered, all seated stand, has good facilities and unhindered views of the playing action. The concourses are of a good size and the acoustics of the stand good, meaning that away fans can really make some noise. Food inside includes; Double Burgers (£4.50), Cheeseburgers (£4), Burgers (£3.50), Hot Dogs (£3.50), Steak and Kidney or Meat and Potato pies (£2.50). Normally the prospect of a day out in Birkenhead, doesn't do much to heighten expectations, but the ground is in a pleasant part of town. .................................................. ................................... They may have 2,500 seats in the Cowshed Stand but do take out several rows of seats at the bottom and will probably make it unreserved seating again and fill up from left to right (facing the pitch) to create a void towards the right side where the Tranmere nuckleheads will no doubt congregate. Perhaps 2,200 seats / tickets available but perhaps a lower allocation will be released first and further tickets made available should the first batch sell out. Best away venue for the season so am expecting a big turn out . |

Re: Next away - Tranmere Rovers Sat 23/09
They sent us a batch of tickets last season but I'm sure you could pay on the gate when you got there too.
Obviously there'll be a bit more interest if we can get a couple of good results in the forthcoming games.
