I think the legal word i am looking for is Estoppel, re the area where the lights are situated.
For the old access to the back of the kop have we tried registering this as a right of way, used for access to the club for over a century. We must have legal rights over this access as well

Let's hope it's also registered as an emergency exit route. That would swing it. Health and safety always works wonders!

Trying to put a positive spin on events..Glyndwr uni mentioned a major development of the Mold road campus some months back with a prominent building possibly fronting Mold road. It was mentioned that plans would be revealed mid September. So could it be that the uni have purchased this land for development and maybe the WAG have been involved for any future kop development. It would certainly coincide with the land now being classed as sold. Just hoping after all the depressing events regarding the Racecourse that finally some development that includes ourselves might be on the horizon or am I being too optimistic.

Sorry pal. That's not happening. There is a new building planned for the car park by the main entrance but that's as close as it gets.

I remember being at an exercise event where the gap between the yale and the kop was used as the evacuation route for the MRS.

That is a genuine and historically checkable thing.

They haven't got any money have they ? I think it's far more likely to be a private sector body like Maccies. Hopefully everyone has got their act together and worked with said buyer to perhaps develop the land in the interests of the club too. Maybe the Welsh FA are giving us some of their Euro 16 profits, maybe the council and our Am have finally shown a scent of political leadership. MAybe the South Wales Government have finally lifted a finger. If all those things have happened it could be good news, though no doubt some Corbynite floppy left fans of ours would try and prevent anyone like Maccies settling there.

Yep, a MacDonalds so close to the ground would be a disaster for the club who continue to rip their own fans off with high prices for bang average food and drink. The masses would drop queuing at ht with not even a guarantee of getting served without a second thought. By then it would be too late.
