Had this messaged to me a few mins ago https://www.facebook.com/Dismal-Jimmy-165785823444104/?ref=br_rs

First line "Dark days" mentioned club is unaware of buyer of the land-behind-Kop site.

For those not on Facebook

Dark days.
It looks like the asset strippers have found a buyer for the land at the back of the Kop.
We do not know who it is and neither do the club. If the sale goes through then it adds another layer of complexity to that site.
Put simply whoever owns that site controls access to the Kop and nothing will be built there unless agreements are in place to do so.
In a sensible world the whole site should be developed in one phase but your local council passed up that opportunity.
To bring you up to speed we are aware that the WAG has had meetings recently with the club and the local authority with a view to "doing something" on this site. There is a hope that we might at last get some progress here.
We do not want any sale going through without the clubs needs being considered. That is not unreasonable.
However we do not know if the new buyers are even aware of the history of the site. Have the agents actually told them ? We understand that they are legally obliged to do so.
This is important.
Please take a minute to e mail or phone "Jonty" and tell him that you have concerns about this sale and how it might affect the future development of the Kop. Tell him that any purchaser might face issues in future if they fail to consult with the football club.
And copy in your local representatives and the useless council leader Mark Pritchard.
Please post any responses on here so that we can keep a track of it. Its ok to be angry. You should be. But remember that Jonty and co are just lackeys for bigger crooks so be polite.
Just to clarify. We have no problem with anyone coming in and building a hotel or whatever. We just want the clubs interests to be recognised.
Its important. Make some noise for the club you own.

Good message , though they have given Mark Pritchard too much credit in their description. He isn't as good as that.

You can find out via the Land Registry as to who owns the land now providing a deal has been concluded.
