Personally wasn't there - called into the Gwersyllt fish bar for scampi & chips pre match (without a table cloth).

Chris Westwood was great for us - had the pleasure of talking to him several times including a pre season fixture at Northwich Victoria - made a big fuss of my young lad at the time which he never forgot - good professional and a thoroughly decent man.

He sat with me & my dad for the meal - really nice grounded guy. No regrets - very philosophical & now supporting adults with Learning Difficulties. Wrexham stories were good - but actually speaking to him about 'Post Wrexham' we're just as good. He has a lot of faith in Keates. Hopefully he'll be invited back - an interesting & nice guy!

One of those players when he played against us I thought he would make a decent signing for us.

Great professional and a shame he got released as he was definitely worth another season here!
