Sounds just like what he is ..a trainee manager that is tinkering and experimenting at our expense.
Keates your team selection was crap, your tactics were poor your substitutions nearly too late. Put on top of the non recruitment of a striker plus putting Carrington in midfield leaves me firmly of the opinion he either has a death wish or he is deluded, take your choice.

He did look rather portly today, that must be the part time training!

Don't know what your point is they created more chances than we did and we are the home team. So how bad does that make us? As for the timewasting it was ott but I would hope we did the same away from home you gotta play every angle you can to get an advantage.

I doubt they play like that every week.

Clearly at half time, 1-0, at a big ground where they'd love to steal the points, their manager will have said to all his players to slow the game down, spoil it, waste time with goal kicks, if any of you get tapped, go down. Stay down, run the clock down.

Not defending them, I despise that club after today I would love it if they crashed and burned.

But I doubt they play like that every week. They were just instructed to do what they did by their manager.

Just my humble opinion.

Still early days for league positions,... True, so far no ones galloped in to a lead, but there's plenty of time for any of the top teams to hit a vein of form to stretch out a lead from the chasing pack....
Problem is..the way we're playing....We won't be one of them..

I was surprised by the team selection today but given that we were playing a poor side at home accepted the fact and hoped for the best.

On Tuesday night the midfield delivered very little for the strikers to feed off so in a way could understand why DK might want to change things and put a bit more creativity in the side. It's still early in the season so why not mix it up a bit and give others a chance. In reality it made no difference whatsoever and without Akil in midfield lacked bite.

As far as the forwards are concerned bringing in Boden was a surprise as he has shown nothing in any game. I really worry about him. His touch was OK on the odd occasion but is no threat upfront and if I was a National League defender I would be delighted to see his name on the team sheet. Holroyd on the other hand needs some match time and looked interested however none of our forwards look 'dangerous'.

I think the biggest problem with midfield is not having a plan. When they receive the ball they make the next bit up. Rarely is there someone offering support or moving into space so it's the old favourite - backwards pass followed by big hoof.

IMO they need a leader.

Carrington is possibly the best utility player in this league and can step in at a number of positions and will always work hard but unfortunately he is a jack of all trades and a master of none so should be on the bench unless an injury to a specific player or a ban then he can cover that player, Carrington is an asset but unless Wright was injured today he should not have played.

I know it sounds strange, but I have a problem with how the players celebrated the equaliser. The ball should have been picked out of the back of the net & the whole team should have ran back to our half ready for the kick off. There was around 2 mins of injury time left to play. Instead a long celebration, players being dived on each other in the corner as if we'd won a cup final or something. Why so happy to knick a point? And why no urgency to go on & win try the game?
