You put your head in your hands.
He was probably taken off because they didn't reset his gps vest and it was constantly sending them notifications that he was out of position. I bet Wedgebury got a right bollocking for venturing out of position to score.

He has his criticisms. But to accuse him of dithering is laughable to be honest.
Agree. Quality players cost big bucks. Despite our increased budget we still struggle to match 'smaller clubs' that are bankrolled by their owners.

However, whilst we know DK wants to bring in a new CF, he is less vocal about the need for a footballing midfielder. That's what concerns me more at the moment.

However there are still players out there that are better than we currently have and even these 'smaller club' cannot sign on all the players that are available.

I don't buy into the theory that we cannot afford better players and I think Keates has proved this with some of his current squad especially Manny and Pearson.

I think it's a bit simplistic to blame 1 player when there are lots of issues but agree he should never start in midfield.

Like you, I think the addition of 2-3 quality players would transform the team and allow us to take advantage of a poor league. But that needs to happen now, not in January.

Agree. Easy to blame it all on Carrington but that is as wide of the mark as our strikers.

The need is greater for a creative midfielder at the moment IMO. I have no doubt that with better service (or even some at all) the likes of Reid, Massanka and Holroyd will score goals. Boden possibly too

And in response to an earlier poster, the only way we could still get Cook is if Mellon stays in his job. The issue with Cook wanting out is with Mellon. A new manager may just see Cook as the best striker there and play him.

I know the comment was made tongue in cheek, but it raises a key point that nobody knows how bad our strikers finishing actually is. Can anybody remember any clear cut chances that they have missed. Probably massanka a one on one being the last obvious one 4 games ago.
