We do have a bit of an obsession with ex players but I agree with Phil - he would make us play better - was he ever that fit when he was with us before? - he certainly didn't 'put himself about'. It can only be his attitude that has let him down as he does have the skills to play at a higher level - he's certainly worth a three month contract to give him chance to prove his worth.

It was me who said that but I also said that he hasn't played for months and wouldn't be match fit for weeks. We can't even give him reserve games to play in to bring him on.

Vose can play on the left. Which is a weakness of ours at the moment.
I have my reservations about the lad but he would (hopefully) get things going a bit more..

Its not going to happen though is it. We will stick with the same group of players and negative tactics and struggle to score. In a few weeks we will get another message saying we have missed out on another striker.

Lol it will be an agent to blame. I wonder if Keates had an agent as a player? Maybe if he had used the agent to begin with the Deal might not of dragged on for months only to breakdown out of spite.
I don't like Agents but it's the modern game to look after a player.

The Agent was the Agent of the player, not our Manager.
We have had this discussion before and in my view we should be asking why didn't the Agent make it known to the Club that he was who we should be dealing with?
My guess is that he was too busy NOT doing his job properly and wanted money for nothing.

However, it seems more convenient for some to blame Keates.

The Vose we saw at the beginning I completely agree - the one at Southport would take us backwards. I guess the important point (which has already been made) is how long it would take ? I was really hoping Leo Smith would be the answer as he is young and can really learn from CD - and I have not given up hope but I agree that we need someone else.

I share this view. What Vose lacks, we have in abundance in this team. Similarly what this team lacks we have in abundance in Vose.
