All strikers would struggle in our side. Keates really is up against it if we cannot sign players like Holman.

You get the impression that Keates wanted striker list is very short. Cook, Bowman and possibly one other that hes been after.

We need someone at least 6ft. Better not be short

Amond was apparently the player who's agent knackered the deal up. Newport paid his fee.

Maybe if we played the ball on the ground and not hoofball we wouldn't need a giant bruiser.

yep that's a good point but seems as though our style is dictated by the inability of the midfield to pass the ball so we have to have players that fit the system or change the system to suit the players.

we may as well play 433, narrow the midfield 3 and ask the 2 wingers to track back.

The team would require a huge overhaul to go from hoofers to footballers.

However, even if we develop that aspect of our game, we still need.some muscle up top. The 98 point team relied on size up front. A big striker is a necessity in this league.

Have we got a striker yet? I mean it's not like we're struggling to score or anything is it?
